The sprawling grounds of Prayag Public School,Chakmada were transformed into a vibrant arena of color, excitement, and youthful exuberance as the school hosted its much-awaited its 5th Biennial Function Day for the session 2025–26 along with co-host Nav Prayag Public School,Handia . The day-long celebration unfolded with dignity, passion, and spirited competition, truly reflecting the rich ethos and progressive vision of the institution. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest – Hon’ble Dr Justice Gautam Chowdhary, Judge, High Court, Allahabad, an accomplished educationist and renowned leader, currently serving as Judge, High Court, Allahabad. The mega celebration was further honored by the Guest of Honor – Dr. Asheesh Kumar, Joint Registrar IIIT, Prayagraj, benign presence of Mr. Sanjay Shrivasatava, Chairman, Prayag Public School, Run By: Prayag Educational & Community Welfare Trust. & Mrs. Shikha Shrivastava, wife of our Chairman Sir, members of the management, Mrs. Madhu Sharma, Principal, Prayag Public School (Chakmada), Mr. Prateek Singh , Principal- Nav Prayag Public School (Handia) and Mr. Gaurav Srivastava ,Prayag Public School ,Dhokri Phulpur, alongside distinguished invitees, proud parents, and an enthusiastic student audience. The ceremony commenced with the warm reception of dignitaries, followed by a melodious Welcome Dance that set the tone for a morning filled with promise, accompanied by the proud rendition of the School Song, evoked a deep sense of pride and belonging. The impeccably synchronized March Past was a visual spectacle of discipline, poise, and unity as various contingents marched smartly across the field. One of the most captivating moments was the Lighting of the Torch, led by Sports Captain – Sumit Tiwari, He carried the flame with honor, symbolizing determination, integrity, and the indomitable spirit of sportsmanship. Principal Mrs. Madhu Sharma, in her Annual Report, highlighted the school’s stellar achievements across academics, cultural platforms, and sports. Her address reaffirmed the institution’s unwavering commitment to nurturing confident, competent, and compassionate learners. Drill. • Dance Showcase of 1st to 3rd Students. • Cultural Program by the students of 6th to 8th. • Showcase of Pyramid Making. • Glittering Golden Arms Show by the Students of Nav Prayag Public School. • 400 Meter Relay Race. • An Act of Parashuram Samvad. • Tug of War • Mega Show is the one of the Largest and Biggest Show among these. • Last but not the least the WAIT IS OVER …the Announcement of the House Winner is – RED House (The SHIVAJI House). The field events witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of all grades. Sprints, relays, and skill-based competitions showcased agility, stamina, and exemplary sportsmanship. The day also featured of Prize Distribution, honoring: • 100 Meter Result Announcement • 400 Meter relay result Announcement • Winner House Announcement • Mementos Distribution Chief Guest - Hon’ble Dr Justice Gautam Chowdhary, in his address, lauded the outstanding performances and commended the teachers and management for curating a flawless and visually splendid event. He remarked that true learning transcends textbooks and classrooms, emphasizing that education is a lifelong journey. He reiterated that schooling must nurture character, honesty, truthfulness, courage, self-discipline, and moral responsibility — values essential for shaping confident, compassionate, and responsible citizens. The ceremony drew to a graceful close with the message of our Chairman Sir, Mr. Sanjay Shrivastava, delivering a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, parents, teachers, participants, and the entire support staff. The 5th Biennial Function Day 2025–26 at Prayag Public School, Handia stood as a spectacular celebration of discipline, determination, cultural richness, and youthful exuberance — a magnificent portrayal of the school’s spirit of Unity in Diversity.
